October 2, 2024, St. George's, Grenada — Today, with heavy hearts, the New National Party (NNP) mourns the passing of Sir Daniel Williams, former Governor General of Grenada and a founding member of our party. Sir Daniel left us this morning, but his profound legacy of service, leadership, and love for his country will endure.

He led with integrity, humility, and a deep love for Grenada—qualities that continue to inspire leaders here and around the world.

Beyond his political achievements, Sir Daniel was a man of wisdom and warmth.
